Position Overview

Ultimate Staffing is actively seeking an experienced Accounting Clerk to join their client's team in Nevada. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth functioning of the accounting department by handling routine bookkeeping and financial tasks. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate financial records.

Responsibilities

• Enter invoices, receipts, and payments into the accounting system.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Match and reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with payroll preparation and timecard verification, as needed.
• Prepare bank deposits and support monthly bank reconciliations.
• Maintain organized filing systems for financial documents.
• Assist with month-end closing tasks and basic financial reports.
• Respond to vendor and internal inquiries regarding payments or billing.
• Support the accounting team with administrative tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; coursework in accounting is a plus.
• 1-2 years of basic accounting or clerical experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, etc.).
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

Required Work Hours

Monday to Friday, 1st shift.

Additional Details

Salary: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
